Academic Research & Publications

The academic research & publications of Moïra and Isabelle on parental burnout is extensive. Especially, besides being full-time university professors, they also co-head the Parental Burnout Research Lab, which is currently the reference laboratory worldwide for the study of parental burnout.

Additionally, the Parental Burnout Research Lab has initiated the International Investigation of Parental Burnout, the IIPB. Under the form of a consortium, moreover, the IIPB aims to examine the conceptual validity, prevalence, and intercultural variation of parental burnout across countries. Its members, in particular, use a common protocol based on factors such as sociodemography, gender roles, parental ideals, goals, and values, etc., to work closely with the hundred researchers in the IIPB around the world.
